This is the final project for the second year of uni, I had to find an object to take a photo of in the photo studio and then replicate that in 3D. The still life picture was inspired by day to day life in my household because my dad is a carpenter, I want to relieve the memory of my childhood in this picture.
I modeled in Maya, and do the detailing in Z-brush. I use Z-Brush to assist in the creation of the displacement maps, and the image is rendered with Vray.
I use Nuke for color grading, color correction and overall comping elements in the still life picture.
